About The Workshop

These Workshops will introduce and develop all aspects of Spanish/English translation skills in medical, legal, and business settings:

Translation in the Legal Setting

• This includes all aspects of legal documents including birth/death certificates, divorce decrees, court/government forms, and formal/informal letters to attorneys or judges, among many others.
  

Translation in the Medical Setting

• Currently an area of tremendous growth, you will learn about techniques and develop terminology to be able to meet the challenge of translating complex medical documents such as medical condition reports, lab/procedure reports, patient/procedure information sheets, medical histories and so on.
  

Translation in the Business Setting

• Business documents are a part of everyday life. Ranging from lease agreements to contracts to business plans and investment prospectuses; the precise, specialized language of business presents its own unique challenges to the proficient translator.
  

Personalized Attention to meet a wide-variety of skill-levels and needs. Time is set aside for one-on-one practice, skill-development sessions, and individual feedback applicable to different work situations.
