When and Where

The 2012 Agnese Haury Institute will take place from:

Monday June 4 to Friday June 22, 2012

The AHI runs Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are occasional days where the classes will run until 6:00 p.m.

Weekends are free, interested students have an opportunity to take specialized workshops ranging from Federal Certification preparation to Immigration, and Professional Translation.

The AHI takes place in the heart of the University of Arizona's campus. Take a look at where the classes are, the type of classroom technologies available, and what the language labs look like.

During the AHI, students will see a variety of specialized lectures, theoretical lectures, and small group work.

Language Labs

For Consecutive interpretation, simultaneous interpretation, and sight translation language labs, we split the students into four groups in order to maintain a smaller student-to-teacher ratio.
