Admission Requirements

Enrollment is strictly limited to ensure a good student/teacher ratio and personal attention. Admission requires submission of:
  1. A completed application (see registration tab), and
  2. non-refundable deposit, and
  3. Proof of bilingual proficiency and/or interpreting experience, as expressed in one of the following:
    • a letter of recommendation stating that the candidate has worked as an interpreter or related profession; or
    • a letter of recommendation stating that the candidate has served as a volunteer interpreter; or
    • proof of passage of the written portion of the Federal Court Interpreter Certification Examination; or
    • proof of state certification; or
    • enrollment in a graduate or under graduate program in a related field.
