State Court Written Test Preparation

The National Center for Interpretation is pleased to announce an intensive hands-on, language-neutral webinar dedicated to improving your scores on the written portion of your state's court interpreter examination.

Each participant will take a sample examination, online, prior to the workshop. During the workshop the instructor will review the most commonly missed questions with the group, as well as any specific questions you wish to discuss. You will gain insight into which sections of the test are most difficult for you, while the instructor provides suggestions of ways to overcome challenges in each section. The practice exam has been developed to authentically reflect the nature and difficulty of the actual state written exam.  Study and test-taking techniques for each subsection of the exam are covered, as well as a review of the types of questions and difficulty level you should expect during the exam.

This Test Prep Workshop, taught by federally-certified court interpreter and NCI staff member Anthony T. Rivas, includes:

  • A Unique Sample Test Developed Exclusively for this Workshop
  • Intensive, Practical Instruction
  • Explanation of Correct Answers
  • Individualized Feedback
