For non-Tucson residents, we have arranged one housing option this year that we hope will stay within your budgets while you attend the Agnese Haury Institute. Please read the description carefully, and feel comfortable calling our office with any questions. Please keep in mind that our office is not in a position to enforce this on you, but simply to offer this choice to assist you.
If you wish to room with someone at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, you are allowed to do so. We will take the responsibility of finding a roommate or roommates for you, unless you have decided on another student (or multiple students) already. Institute staff is happy to assign roommates for individual students who wish to share a room at the hotel; however, though students may request double, triple or quadruple occupancy for the hotel and therefore the double, triple or quadruple occupancy rate, such occupancy may not be available. Double, triple and quadruple occupancy availability is fulfilled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We suggest you notify us of your preference as soon as possible. Further, we accept no responsibility for roommate compatibility. These concerns will need to be resolved on your own.
Discounted housing will be provided by the Sheraton Four Points Hotel, located within a short distance from the University of Arizona campus. The Sheraton Four Points Hotel is offering rates of $44.96 (single occupancy), $22.48 (double occupancy), $20.64 (triple occupancy) and $19.72 (quadruple occupancy) per room per night for 2012.
Participants who wish to stay at the Sheraton will need to contact and make arrangements directly with our office. Please consider that sharing the room with another person will split the cost of the hotel room per night.

On a final note, the Sheraton Four Points is providing this option as a courtesy to the Agnese Haury Institute participants; therefore services will be limited. However, the hotel’s regular amenities will be available.
