Professional Records Privacy

The National Center for Interpretation is committed to protecting its students’ privacy as described under the Family Rights and privacy Act of 1974, consistent with University policy (http://www.registrar.arizona.edu/ferpa/default.htm).  NCI will not release any educational records, including but not limited to enrollment and attendance records and test results, to any third party entity without the express written consent of the student.  Consent can be given through the Authorization to Release Information form.

Online Consumer Data

The National Center for Interpretation takes seriously its obligation for protecting your privacy and ensures that all information you provide on our website will be used for the purpose for which it was collected, both by tNCI and business partners necessary for completing transactions. We collect only data necessary for identifying you as a member of a center and/or a registrant in courses or conferences. In cases where payment is necessary, no credit card information is collected or stored by the National Center for Interpretation as our practice is to use the University’s Payment Card Industry vendor, Cybersource, for credit card transactions. These transactions are conducted on Cybersource’s secure payment servers.

The National Center for Interpretation complies with all applicable Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), and university security and privacy policies to ensure the confidentiality of your information.
