Features of English and Spanish

The National Center for Interpretation is pleased to announce a webinar for Spanish/English court interpreters!

Every language is unique and offers its own pitfalls for the interpreter.  This webinar introduces fundamental features of English and Spanish that provide particular challenges for the interpreter, including features such as use of the passive voice, phrasal verbs, the subjunctive mood, and so on.  Its focus is providing strategies for addressing these interpreting challenges.

This webinar is live and instructor-led. Participants are required to actively participant in the workshop.

CEUs are approved for the ATA and CA. NCI is a pre-approved provider of CEUs for CO, FL, KY, PA, and TN.

We hope you'll join us!
