Interpreting in Administrative Hearings (Language Neutral)

The National Center for Interpretation is pleased to announce a webinar designed for interpreters of all languages!

Interpreting in administrative law hearings will broaden opportunities for interpreters. This webinar covers administrative law hearings in various areas legal interpreters encounter, such as:

  • Workers' compensation
  • Workplace safety
  • Employment discrimination
  • Environmental protection
  • Unemployment
  • ...and more!

Participants will learn about these types of hearings and be exposed to examples of the technical and specialized vocabulary in these areas. You will have an opportunity to practice interpreting in some of these settings.

This 3-hour language neutral webinar is taught entirely in English and is open to interpreters in all languages.

This webinar is live and instructor-led. Participants are required to actively participant in the workshop. Through discussions and exercises with the trainer and other participants, you will be better equipped to interpret in these diverse settings.
