
Alma Tejeda Padron is a social and health psychologist born and raised in southern Mexico. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice and Coordinator of the International Dual-Degree Programs for the Psychology Department. Alma is passionate about public health, college teaching, social justice, and cross-cultural understanding. She has served as a college psychology instructor in both Mexico and the United States and mentors bilingual psychology students to increase access to higher education and public health resources for Spanish-speaking populations. Additionally, she collaborates with international students and stakeholders to establish and solidify UA Psychology dual-degree programs at institutions worldwide.
