Jhonatan Henao-Muñoz, (he/they - él/elle), is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the W.A. Franke Honors College and a UNIV Core Faculty - Office of General Education at the University of Arizona. Trained as a linguist and a languages professor, he serves as an Affiliated Faculty for the LGBTQ+ Institute, Center for Latin American Studies, and Human Rights Practice Program as well as a UA HSI ambassador (23-24) and a Faculty in Residence for the Guerrero Student Center(24). Their research areas focused on Romance Languages Linguistics on Spanish and French, Non-binary / Inclusive Spanish Language, Translation in the Language Classroom, and Bilingual Higher Education.
